Public Business Law
Our Firm enjoys recognized expertise in the area of public business law, both in providing counsel and in litigation. We arrange deals for management and outsourcing of public services, construction of public infrastructures and complex real estate transactions.
More specifically, the Public Business Law team is involved in the negotiation, drafting and litigation of public contracts entered into with government institutions and public corporations, such as public service delegation, authorizations or agreements of public property occupancy, government contracting, administrative and hospital-related long-term leases, and, more generally, public-private partnership agreements (PPPs).
The lawyers of the Public Business Law team assist public authorities in the design and implementation of legal arrangements necessary for their economic, cultural or social mission, improving the value of their real estate holdings, or auditing a current legal situation.
Our Firm also assists businesses in their contractual and other relationships with all kinds of public officials and government authorities. We help them negotiate their agreements, obtain the necessary administrative authorizations, and solve disputes with public entities.
The Public Business team’s lawyers have thorough knowledge of the workings of public authorities and the various economic sectors involved. This enables them to fully understand their clients' interests.
In addition, the Team works in the areas of urban planning and development law, and environmental and classified facilities law.
In order to provide complete, operational solutions to its clients, the Public Business Law team regularly makes use of specialists from the Firm’s other teams (corporate law, competition law, banking and finance law, new technology and computer law, and employment law).
