Simon
Mattern
Counsel
‘Questions don’t have to make sense (…). But answers do.’ (Terry Pratchett)

Lawyer at the Paris Bar since 2017, Simon joined LWA’s Labour practice in 2017 and has been Counsel since 2023.

Simon assists private and public entities in all their issues relating to the understanding and implementation of labour law, both in counselling and litigation. Involved in all areas of labour law, he shows particular interest for corporate welfare protection topics.

Comforted by his experience gained alongside public operators, in the transportation area in particular, he has also developed his own sense of conciliation of imperatives that are specific to exercising a public services activity in a framework that can be applied to social relationships.
