LWA advised BOBST in the acquisition of Jetpack SAS
BOBST is seeking to expand its presence in France and in French-speaking Africa after having acquired 51% of Jetpack SAS.
Through the partnership with Jetpack, BOBST will be able to offer printers access to a whole range of printing and converting solutions for the film and label industry. The product and services portfolio offered to French and French-speaking African customers will be the largest in the industry. This new market offer will facilitate access to the best existing solutions for label printers and flexible converters.
By making packaging production more agile and sustainable, this partnership will continue to shape the future of the packaging world.

Telecoms / Connection data: LWA obtained from the Council of State (Conseil d’Etat – which acts, in France, as the supreme court for matters of administrative law) the end of the generalized and undifferentiated requirement to store connection data. The Council of State has given the government 6 months to modify the applicable law. On this occasion, the judge created a “constitutional safeguard clause” (clause de sauvegarde constitutionnelle) to help settle possible future conflicts between the French Constitution and EU law
